Actually you are not logged in to your Windows, instead, you are having Administrative access to all files and folders of your Windows Hard drives.
This, you can do with other alternative methods also - for example - with Live Linux CD/DVD (eg - Knoppix 5.1)having NTFS partition access tool built in.
